Biviers is located in the long valley of the Grésivaudan . In the north-west rises the Mont Saint-Eynard , the outermost mountain range of the Chartreuse Mountains . Biviers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Sappey-en-Chartreuse in the north and west, Saint-Ismier in the north and east, Montbonnot-Saint-Martin in the south and south-east and Meylan in the south and south-west.
