The canton of Meylan is a French canton in the Arrondissement of Grenoble in the Isère département of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . The main town is Meylan . Guy Pierre Cabanel ( UDF radical ) was a representative in the conseil général des Départements from 1982 to 2008 . Since 2008 Jean-Claude Peyrin ( UMP ) has been a representative, since 2015 together with Agnés Menuel ( DVD ).

Until 2015

Until the reorganization, the canton of Meylan consisted of the four municipalities of Corenc , Meylan , Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse and La Tronche .
