The canton of La Tour-du-Pin is a French canton in the Arrondissement of La Tour-du-Pin in the Isère department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . The main town is La Tour-du-Pin . Representative in the conseil général des Départements was from 2001 to Maurice Durand ( DVD ). He was succeeded by Pascal Payen ( PS ).

Until the reorganization, the canton of La Tour-du-Pin consisted of the 15 municipalities of Cessieu , La Chapelle-de-la-Tour , Dolomieu , Faverges-de-la-Tour , Montagnieu , Montcarra , Rochetoirin , Sainte-Blandine and Saint-Clair -de-la-Tour , Saint-Didier-de-la-Tour , Saint-Jean-de-Soudain , Saint-Victor-de-Cessieu , Torchefelon , La Tour-du-Pin and Vignieu .
