La Combe-de-Lancey is a French municipality with 701 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). La Combe-de-Lancey belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Le Moyen Grésivaudan (until 2015 Domène ). The inhabitants call themselves Combinois .

La Combe-de-Lancey is located about thirteen kilometers east-northeast of Grenoble in a valley of the Grésivaudan . La Combe-de-Lancey is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villard-Bonnot in the north, Saint-Mury-Monteymond in the east and northeast, Revel in the south and west, Saint-Jean-le-Vieux in the west and Le Versoud in the west and northwest.
