Notre-Dame-de-Mésage is a French commune with 1,147 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Grenoble , the canton Oisans-Romanche (until 2015: Canton Vizille ) and the municipal association Grenoble-Alpes-Métropole . The inhabitants are called Mésageois .

Notre-Dame-de-Mésage is located about 13 kilometers south-southeast of Grenoble on the Romanche , which borders the municipality in the east. Notre-Dame-de-Mésage is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Montchaboud in the north, Vizille in the east, Saint-Pierre-de-Mésage in the south and south-east and Champ-sur-Drac in the west.

The national route 85 runs through the municipality .
