Froges is a French municipality with 3331 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Haut-Grésivaudan . The inhabitants are called Frogiens .

Froges is a municipality in the Grésivaudan valley . The Isère forms the western or northwestern municipal boundary. Froges is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Champ-près-Froges in the north, Les Adrets in the east, Laval in the south and southeast, Villard-Bonnot in the southwest and Crolles in the west.
