Prébois is a French municipality with 164 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016: Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015: canton of Mens ). The inhabitants are called Prabouissous .
geography
Prébois is about 40 kilometers south of Grenoble on the Ébron , which borders the municipality to the west. Prébois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cornillon-en-Trièves in the north, Mens in the east and northeast, Saint-Baudille-et-Pipet in the east, Tréminis in the south and southeast, Lalley in the south and southwest, and Saint-Maurice-en-Trièves in the West, Le Monestier-du-Percy to the west and northwest, and Percy to the northwest.
