Saint-Andéol is a French municipality with 122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves ( Monestier-de-Clermont until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Andéolous .

geography

Saint-Andéol is located about 29 kilometers south-southwest of Grenoble in the Vercors Mountains. Saint-Andèol is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Corrençon-en-Vercors in the north, Château-Bernard in the north and northeast, Saint-Guillaume in the east, Gresse-en-Vercors in the south, Saint-Aignan-en-Vercors in the west and southwest as well La Chapelle-en-Vercors in the north-west.
