Notre-Dame-de-Commiers is a French municipality with 518 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Le Pont-de-Claix (until 2015 Vizille ). The inhabitants are called Commérots .

geography

Notre-Dame-de-Commiers is about 19 kilometers south of Grenoble . The Drac limits the community to the west. Notre-Dame-de-Commiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Georges-de-Commiers in the north, Notre-Dame-de-Vaulx in the east and south-east, Monteynard in the south, and Saint-Martin-de-la-Cluze in the south-west as well Vif to the west and northwest.
