In the northwest is the 1,738 meter high mountain Bec Charvet , an elevation in the Chartreuse Mountains. Saint-Nazaire-les-Eymes is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse and Saint-Pancrasse in the north, Bernin in the north and northeast, Villard-Bonnot in the east and southeast and Saint-Ismier in the south and west.
