Têche is a French municipality with 574 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the Canton of Le Sud Grésivaudan (until 2015: Canton of Saint-Marcellin ). The inhabitants are called Téchois .

geography

Têche is located about 28 kilometers west-southwest of Grenoble in the historic Dauphiné an der Isère , which borders the municipality in the south and south-east. Têche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaulieu in the north and east, Izeron in the south and south-east, Saint-Sauveur in the south-west and Saint-Vérand in the west and north-west.

The A49 autoroute runs through the municipality .
