Melanie Schmidli

Melanie Schmidli (* 1982 in Basel ) is a Swiss actress and theater maker .

Life

Melanie Schmidli studied acting at the Berlin University of the Arts . After various theater engagements (including at the Berliner Ensemble and Centraltheater Leipzig ), she brought out her first solo performance, Marielle, the maiden of honor . Since then she has worked as a freelancer in various artistic collectives. Schmidli is a member of the Flöz family mask play group and regularly plays a satirical-feminist late-night show with her comedy duo Projekt Schooriil in the Sophiensælen Berlin. She lives in Berlin.
