Saint-Quentin-sur-Isère is located about 18 kilometers northwest of Grenoble on the Isère , which forms the northern and western municipal boundaries. Saint-Quentin-sur-Isère is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vourey and Moirans in the north, Voreppe in the northeast, Veurey-Voroize in the east, Montaud in the south and southeast, La Rivière and Poliénas in the southwest and Tullins in the west.
