Quincieu is a French municipality with 103 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Le Sud Grésivaudan ( Tullins until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Quincerots .

Quincieu is about 28 kilometers west-northwest of Grenoble . Quincieu is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Geoirs in the north and north-west, La Forteresse in the north and north-east, Cras in the east, Vatilieu in the east and south-east, Serre-Nerpol in the south and west and Saint-Michel-de-Saint-Geoirs in the north-west .
