Auris is a French commune in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality, which belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Oisans-Romanche (until 2015 Le Bourg-d'Oisans ), has 190 (as of January 1, 2017) inhabitants, who are called Aurienchons .

Auris is located about 31 kilometers southeast of Grenoble on the Romanche , which borders the municipality in the south.
