Saint-Blaise-du-Buis is a French commune with 1,062 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Tullins (until 2015: canton of Rives ). The residents are called buissards .

Saint-Blaise-du-Buis is located about 26 kilometers north-northwest of Grenoble . The Fure limits the community in the west. Saint-Blaise-du-Buis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Apprieu in the north and west, Chirens in the northeast, La Murette in the east and Réaumont in the south.
The A48 car route runs along the southwestern edge of the municipality .
