Saint-Christophe-sur-Guiers is located around 26 kilometers north of Grenoble in the Chartreuse Mountains . The Guiers Vif flows along the northern edge of the municipality . Saint-Christophe-sur-Guiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Christophe in the north, Corbel in the north and northeast, Saint-Franc in the northeast, Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont (Savoie) in the east and northeast, Saint-Pierre-d 'Entremont (Isère) in the east and south-east, Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse in the south, Saint-Laurent-du-Pont in the south-west, Entre-deux-Guiers in the west and Les Échelles in the west and north-west. The municipality is located in the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park .
