Cornillon-en-Trièves is a French municipality with 165 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016: Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015: canton of Mens ).

geography

Cornillon-en-Trièves is about 35 kilometers south of Grenoble . The municipality is bordered by the Drac in the northeast and Ébron in the southwest . Cornillon-en-Trièves is surrounded by the neighboring communities Mayres-Savel in the north, Saint-Jean-d'Hérans in the east and north-east, Mens in the south and south-east, Prébois in the south, Percy in the south-west and Lavars in the west and north-west.
