Nantes-en-Ratier (also: Nantes-en-Rattier ) is a French municipality with 466 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Grenoble and belongs to the canton of Matheysine-Trièves (until 2015 La Mure ). The inhabitants are called Nantois .

geography

Nantes-en-Ratier is located about 29 kilometers south-southeast of Grenoble . At the southern border of the municipality, the Roizonne flows into the Bonne . Nantes-en-Ratier is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Honoré in the north and north-west, La Valette in the east, Siévoz in the south and south-east, Saint-Laurent-en-Beaumont in the south and Sousville in the west and south-west.
