Saint-Lattier is a French commune with 1,338 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the Canton of Le Sud Grésivaudan (until 2015: Canton of Saint-Marcellin ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Lattiérois .

Saint-Lattier is located about 43 kilometers west-southwest of Grenoble on the Isère , which borders the municipality in the south, in the historic Dauphiné landscape . Saint-Lattier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montagne in the north, Saint-Bonnet-de-Chavagne in the east and north-east, Saint-Hilaire-du-Rosier in the east, Eymeux in the south, Saint-Paul-lès-Romans in the south-west, Châtillon- Saint-Jean in the west and Parnans in the northwest.

The A49 autoroute runs through the municipality .
