Eymeux is a French commune in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .

geography

The settlement area of ​​Eymeux lies on the left bank of the Isère , at 192 meters above sea level. The municipality is located almost ten kilometers east of Romans-sur-Isère and about 27 kilometers northeast of Valence (as the crow flies). On the opposite side of the river is the La Baudière settlement , part of the commune of Saint-Lattier in the Isère department .

history

The municipality has only existed in its current form since 1974, when the former municipality of Hostun-et-Eymeux was dissolved and Eymeux and Hostun came into being.
