Manthes is located about 23 kilometers south-southeast of Vienne on the rivers Veuze and Oron . Manthes is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Lapeyrouse-Mornay in the north, Beaurepaire in the north-east, Lens-Lestang in the east and south-east, Moras-en-Valloire in the south, Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire in the west and south-west and Épinouze in the west and north-west.
