Le Grand-Serre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lentiol in the north, Thodure in the northeast, Saint-Clair-sur-Galaure in the east, Valherbasse with Montrigaud in the south and southeast, Saint-Christophe-et-le-Laris in the southwest and Hauterives in the west .
