Peyrus is a municipality with 606 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France . It belongs to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ), the Département Drôme , the Arrondissement Valence and the canton Crest (until 2015 Chabeuil ).
geography
Peyrus is located about 16 kilometers east-southeast of Valence . Peyrus is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-la-Commanderie in the north, Léoncel in the east, Châteaudouble in the south and west and Charpey in the north-west.
