Bésayes is located on the fertile plains of the Isère and the Rhône , 15 kilometers east of Valence and around 8 kilometers south of Bourg-de-Péage (as the crow flies).

population

With 1221 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), Bésayes is one of the medium-sized municipalities in the Drôme department. In 1962 the population was 509. In the second half of the 20th century, the population increased continuously. The strongest growth was recorded in the late 1970s.
