Laveyron is located about 25 kilometers north of Valence on the Rhône . Laveyron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Andancette in the north, Beausemblant in the east and the east, Saint-Uze and Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals in the south-east, Saint-Vallier in the south, Sarras in the west and south-west and Andance in the west and north-west.
