Chabeuil is a French municipality with 6875 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Valence-2 . The inhabitants are called Chabeuillois (es) .
geography
Chabeuil is located on the Véore , a tributary of the Rhône . Chabeuil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fauconnières in the north, Châteaudouble in the east, Barcelonne in the southeast, Montvendre in the south and Malissard and Valence in the west.
The former Route nationale 538 runs through the municipality . Valence-Chabeuil Airport (IATA code: VAF) is also located in the municipality .
