Claveyson is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mureils in the north, Saint-Avit in the northeast, Ratières in the east, Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse in the southeast, Bren in the south, Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals in the west and La Motte-de -Galaure in the northwest.
