Beauvallon is a French commune with 1,591 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Valence-3 (until 2015: canton of Portes-lès-Valence ). The inhabitants are called Beauvallonnais (es) .

Beauvallon is located on the Véore River , a tributary of the Rhône . Beauvallon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Portes-lès-Valence to the north and west, Montéléger to the east and Étoile-sur-Rhône to the south.
