Crépol is a French municipality with 563 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Drôme des collines (until 2015 Romans-sur-Isère-2 ). The inhabitants are called Crépolois .

Crépol is located about 28 kilometers northeast of Valence am Herbasse . Crépol is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montchenu in the north and west, Saint-Christophe-et-le-Laris in the north and north-east, Valherbasse with Miribel in the north-east, Saint-Laurent-d'Onay in the east, Le Chalon in the south and south-east, Arthémonay in the south, Margès in the south-west and Charmes-sur-l'Herbasse in the west and south-west.
