Miribel is a village and a former French commune of 295 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Drôme des collines ( Romans-sur-Isère-2 until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Miribelois .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Montrigaud , Miribel and Saint-Bonnet-de-Valclérieux were merged to form Commune nouvelle Valherbasse , where they have the status of a Commune déléguée . The administrative seat is in Montrigaud.
geography
Miribel is located about 42 kilometers north-northeast of Valence am Herbasse . Miribel is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Montrigaud in the north and north-east, Saint-Bonnet-de-Valclérieux in the east, Saint-Laurent-d'Onay in the south, Crépol in the south-west and Saint-Christophe-et-le-Laris in the west and north-west.
