Valherbasse is a French commune with 1,010 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Drôme des collines and the arrondissement of Valence .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Montrigaud , Miribel and Saint-Bonnet-de-Valclérieux , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Montrigaud .
