Tersanne is a French municipality with 357 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Drôme des collines (until 2015: canton of Le Grand-Serre ). The inhabitants are called Tersannois .

Tersanne is located about 34 kilometers south-southeast of Vienne . Tersanne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Hauterives in the north and northeast, Saint-Christophe-et-le-Laris in the east, Montchenu in the south and southeast, Bathernay in the south, Saint-Avit in the southwest and Saint-Martin-d'Août in the west and Northwest.
