geography

Crozes-Hermitage is located about 17 kilometers north of Valence on the Rhône and in the wine-growing region of the same name . Crozes-Hermitage is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gervans and Érôme in the north and north-west, Larnage in the east, Tain-l'Hermitage in the south and Saint-Jean-de-Muzols in the west and south-west.

The National Route 7 runs through the municipality .
