Montvendre is a municipality with 1,185 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in France . It belongs to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ), the Département Drôme , the Arrondissement Valence and the canton Crest (until 2015 Chabeuil ).
geography
Montvendre is located about eleven kilometers east-southeast of Valence on the Véore . Montvendre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chabeuil in the north, Barcelonne and Combovin in the east, La Baume-Cornillane in the south-east, Montmeyran in the south, Beaumont-lès-Valence in the west and Malissard in the north-west.
