Montvendre is located about eleven kilometers east-southeast of Valence on the Véore . Montvendre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chabeuil in the north, Barcelonne and Combovin in the east, La Baume-Cornillane in the south-east, Montmeyran in the south, Beaumont-lès-Valence in the west and Malissard in the north-west.
