geography
Chantemerle-les-Blés is located about 18 kilometers north of Valence on the river Bouterne . Chantemerle-les-Blés is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Barthélemy-de-Vals in the north, Bren in the northeast, Marsaz in the east, Chavannes in the southeast, Mercurol-Veaunes in the south, Larnage in the southwest and Érôme in the west.
The A7 autoroute runs through the municipality .
