Montéléger is located on the Véore River , a tributary of the Rhône . Montéléger is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Valence in the north, Beaumont-lès-Valence in the east, Montmeyran in the south-east, Étoile-sur-Rhône in the south and south-west, Beauvallon in the west and Portes-lès-Valence in the west and north-west.
