geography
Malissard is located in the Rhone Valley , just southeast of Valence . Malissard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chabeuil in the north and east, Montvendre in the southeast, Beaumont-lès-Valence in the south and Valence in the west.
Route nationale 7 runs along the north-western edge of the municipality .
