Lens-Lestang is a French municipality with 882 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Drôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Valence and the canton of Drôme des collines .
geography
The municipality is located east of the Rhône valley, around 30 kilometers east of Annonay and 20 kilometers southeast of Roussillon , on the border with the neighboring department of Isère . Neighboring municipalities to Lens-Lestang are:
- Beaurepaire in the north,
- Marcollin and Lentiol in the east,
- Hauterives in the south,
- Moras-en-Valloire to the west and
- Manthes in the northwest.
The village itself is located on the left bank of the Ruisseau Regrimay stream , which, coming from the east, swings here to the north and flows into the Dolure a little later , which drains into the Rhône via the Collières near Saint-Rambert-d'Albon .
The D538 département road, which runs from Romans-sur-Isère to Vienne , provides transport connections to the community.
