Marcollin is a French municipality with 670 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement Vienne and the canton Bièvre (until 2015: canton Roybon ). The inhabitants are called Marcollinnais .

geography

Marcollin is about 22 kilometers southeast of Vienne . Marcollin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Barthélemy in the north, Beaufort in the east and north-east, Lentiol in the south, Lens-Lestang in the west and south-west and Beaurepaire in the north-west.
