Meyssiez (formerly - until 2013 - also: MEYSSIES ) is a French municipality with 637 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the Vienne arrondissement and the canton of Bièvre (until 2015: canton of Saint-Jean-de-Bournay ).

Meyssiez is 14 kilometers east-southeast of Vienne . The river Gère flows through the municipality. Meyssiez is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Savas-Mépin in the north, Villeneuve-de-Marc in the east, Saint-Julien-de-l'Herms in the south and south-east, Cour-et-Buis in the south and south-west and Eyzin-Pinet in the west.
