Savas-Mépin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Georges-d'Espéranche in the north, Beauvoir-de-Marc in the east and northeast, Royas in the east, Villeneuve-de-Marc in the southeast, Meyssiez in the south, Eyzin-Pinet in the west and Southwest and Moidieu-Détourbe in the west and northwest.
