Ville-sous-Anjou is about 18 kilometers south of Vienne . The municipality is crossed by the Sanne River. Ville-sous-Anjou is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Assieu in the north, Saint-Romain-de-Surieu in the east and northeast, Sonnay in the east and southeast, Anjou in the south and southeast, Agnin in the south, Salaise-sur-Sanne in the southwest as well Roussillon in the west.
