Saint-Clair-du-Rhône is a French municipality with 3817 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Vienne and the canton of Vienne-2 . The inhabitants are called Saint-Clairois (es) .

In the west of Saint-Clair-du-Rhône the partially canalized Rhone flows , in the south the Varèze . Saint-Clair-du-Rhône is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Roches-de-Condrieu and Condrieu in the north, Saint-Prim in the east, Clonas-sur-Varèze in the south and south-east, Saint-Alban-du-Rhône and Chavanay in the south-west , Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône in the west and Vérin in the north-west.
The Saint-Clair-Les-Roches train station is on the Paris – Marseille railway line .
