Jardin is a French commune with a population of 2,207 (as at 1st January 2017) in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Vienne arrondissement and the Vienne-2 canton (until 2015: Vienne-Sud canton ) and the Pays Viennois municipal association . The inhabitants are called Jardinois (es) .
geography
Jardin is located in the Dauphiné region on the Suze River, a tributary of the Gère . Jardin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vienne in the north and west, Estrablin in the east and north-east, Saint-Sorlin-de-Vienne in the south and south-east and Les Côtes-d'Arey in the west and south-west.
