Chalon (until 2012: Chalons ) is a French municipality with 180 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Vienne and the canton of Roussillon (until 2015: canton of Beaurepaire ). The inhabitants are called chalonnais .

geography

Chalon is about ten kilometers southeast of Vienne . Chalon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Sorlin-de-Vienne in the north, Montseveroux in the east and south-east, Monsteroux-Milieu in the south, Vernioz in the west and south-west and Les Côtes-d'Arey in the west and north-west.
