Saint-Siméon-de-Bressieux is located about 42 kilometers northwest of Grenoble , at the foot of the Chartreuse massif . Saint-Siméon-de-Bressieux is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of La-Côte-Saint-André in the north, Brézins in the east, Saint-Pierre-de-Bressieux and Bressieux in the south-east, Marnans in the south, Châtenay in the west and Sardieu in the north-west.
The former route nationale 519 (today's D119) runs through the municipality .
