Montseveroux is a French municipality with 961 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Vienne and the canton of Roussillon (until 2015: canton of Beaurepaire ). The inhabitants are called Montseverois or Montseveroudères .

Montseveroux is located about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Vienne on the Varèze River . Montseveroux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Eyzin-Pinnet in the north, Cour-et-Buis in the east, Primarette in the south-east, Moissieu-sur-Dolon in the south, Bellegarde-Poussieu in the south and south-west, La Chapelle-de-Surieu in the south-west, Monsteroux -Milieu in the west and Chalon and Saint-Sorlin-de-Vienne in the north-west.
