Villette-de-Vienne is a French commune with 1,872 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Vienne and the canton of Vienne-1 (until 2015: canton of Vienne-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Villettois .

Villette-de-Vienne is located about eight kilometers north-northeast of Vienne and about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Lyon . Villette-de-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marennes in the north, Chaponnay in the northeast, Luzinay in the east, Serpaize in the south, Chuzelles in the west and Simandres in the northwest.
