Montfalcon is a French municipality with 133 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the arrondissement Vienne and the canton Bièvre (until 2015: canton Roybon ). The inhabitants are called Montfalconnais .

geography

Montfalcon is about 29 kilometers southeast of Vienne am Galaure . Montfalcon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Clair-sur-Galaure in the north and west, Viriville in the northeast, Roybon in the east and Valherbasse with Montrigaud in the south and southwest.
